Renowned producer, composer and percussionist Tony Succar has been nominated in the “Best Percussionist / World Drummer” category in the 47th edition of the prestigious Modern Drummer Readers Poll, organized by the emblematic Modern Drummer magazine, the most influential publication in the world dedicated to drums and percussion.
This recognition once again highlights the international projection of Succar, who has managed to transcend genres and borders thanks to his virtuosity, his energy on stage and his commitment to Latin music and contemporary fusion.
“What an honor. I have been nominated for Best Percussionist / World Drummer in the 47th edition of the Modern Drummer Readers Poll, by the prestigious drummer magazine @modern_drummer. This recognition means a lot to me, since I have followed this magazine practically all my life, since I was a child. I do not consider myself the best, nor among the best really… there are so many percussionists that I deeply admire. But just being considered, it is something that motivates me a lot to continue giving my best,” posted Tony Succar, through his official Instagram account.
