This progressive metal band is induced into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2023 for this year. This is the first time in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame history that the Induction Ceremony will be shown live on Disney+. It will happen on November 3, 2023.

Today, in the performer category, Rage Against the Machine is an inductee to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
During an hour-long special on Apple Music 1, hosted by Ebro Darden, Rebecca Judd, Matt Wilkinson, Brooke Reese, and Kelleigh Bannen made the news. Sheryl Crow and Bernie Taupin were also on the show as special guests.

This year, the chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation John Sykes talks about the artists:

We are honored that this November’s Induction Ceremony in New York will coincide with two milestones in music culture; the 90th birthday of Willie Nelson and the 50th Anniversary of the birth of Hip Hop.”

- Musical Excellence Award: given to artists, musicians, songwriters and producers whose originality and influence creating music have had a dramatic impact on music.
- Ahmet Ertegun Award: non-performing industry professionals who have had a major influence on the creative development and growth of rock & roll and music that has impacted youth culture.
