New highlights
Zetra – Sacrifice
We bloody love Zetra. And now, our favorite corpse-painted-synth-metal ghouls have finally announced their signing to Nuclear Blast, and released this new banger to celebrate. Lovely stuff 2024 will belong to them.
Bruce Dickinson – Afterglow Of Ragnarok
Here he is: Bruce Dickinson with his first new solo material in almost twentyyears. It’s pleasingly heavy, and the maiden foghorn is also in a thoroughly dramatic mood. Which is good, given its title and the fact that the physical single comes with a comic book that outlines the story of his upcoming solo album, The Mandrake Project. A solid Brucie bonus.
Trash Boat – Liar Liar
Sadly, Trash Boat‘s new one isn’t an ode to the1997 Jim Carrey chuckle-fest of the same name. It’s about “podcast bro culture”, which we can all agree needs to leave the room. Good news: it absolutely rips. Big riff you have there, lads. Angry chorus, too. Belter all round.
