“There will be a good relationship (bilateral). I sent a formal letter that arrived in your hands yesterday.s, I hope, at least to his team and we also propose to congratulate him personally”Sheinbaum commented in his daily press conference.
In response, Trump’s team proposed calling him at 9:30 a.m. local time (3:30 p.m. GMT).
“It’s a cordial congratulatory call and there will be time to discuss all the issues on the bilateral agenda, which are therefore many.“said the Mexican ruler.
Sheinbaum specified that on Wednesday he sent congratulations through social networks, after the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, recognized Trump’s victory.
Trump achieved a clear electoral victory to return to the White House with the promise of changing US relations with the world, including Latin America.
