Zedd has been honored by the City and County of San Francisco with a day in his own name.
October 12th, 2024 is now “Zedd Day” in the City by the Bay, according to the superstar DJ, who announced the official proclamation this week. Issued by Mayor London Breed, it lauds Zedd as “an integral part of the San Francisco performing arts community.”
Mayoral proclamations are typically issued for the purpose of public awareness, education or civic duties. Save for FISHER’s day in Vegasthey are rare in the music industry, so Zedd celebrated by showing his off during a set at San Francisco’s famed Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

Fresh off the release of Teloshis first album in nearly a decade, Zedd is riding a hot streak of 14 sold-out concerts at Bill Graham, where he’s performed for roughly 100,000 people over the course of nine years, according to the venue.
The proclamation also notes that Zedd was “instrumental” in the city’s pandemic recovery efforts after spearheading the first event at Bill Graham following a shutdown period of 18 months. The sold-out show took place August 6th, 2021.
