P.O.D. – Sonny Sandoval [voz], Marcos Curiel [guitarra] and Traa Daniels [bajo] – have announced their eleventh album, «Veritas«. It will arrive on May 3rd via Mascot Records.

P.O.D. They have been a vital band for more than 30 years. But if you ask its members what inspires them after all this time, they will tell you that they continue to act as if they were eternal losers. Yes, with every new album they release, with every concert they give, these lifelong musicians continue to think they have something to prove.

The word “Veritas» -which translates as «TRUE» in Latin – defines the emotional core of the album, and the cover art further summarizes that message: the cover of «Veritas“, which depicts a child with darkened eyes, means “a culmination of innocence and dark hidden truths.”

Last fall, the band released the video for “drop“, which features a ruthless vocal cameo from the singer of Lamb Of God Randy Blythe. It was followed by the video of «Afraid To Die“, with the participation of Tatiana Shmaylukvocalist of Jinjer. The combined topics have achieved six million views.

Now the band has shared the video for «I Won’t Bow Down«, another great song that further introduces «Veritas«.
