The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petroassured that his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahuit’s a “crazy“which is”killing a lot of people” in Loop in the style of Herod, during an intervention in Caracas at the Venezuela Book Fair (FILVE).
“Today we are seeing a crazy man who is Netanyahu“Petro said during the presentation of his latest book, “One life, many lives”, where he also criticized that USA support the war Israel on Gaza Strip because “Israeli capital owns American banks”.

“They don’t realize that they are killing a lot of people, not just people, babies.“, continued Petro, who likened it to “a very powerful Herod killing and killing children on earth”.
The Colombian president, who has taken an active part in the Palestinian cause and has promised to bring Israel to International Criminal Court for war crimes, targeted world leaders this week in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC, in its acronym in English), among which were the American Joe Bidenfor his role in the war.
The Colombian president had already made a similar call on November 3 in Washington during a meeting with several leaders of the region in the White House.
“I told Biden that the massacre could not continue to be allowed“, Petro reported after the meeting, emphasizing – again – that “The breakdown of international law that we are contemplating produces more violence, more barbarism and democratic destruction”.
Petro publishes daily messages in defense of the Palestinian cause on the social network X and harsh criticism of Israel for the bombings against the Gaza Strip. TO Benjamin Netanyahufor example, has accused him of unleashing a “Butcher shop”.

In his messages he has also compared several times the situation in Loop for the bombing of Israel with the Nazi concentration camps in the Second World Warwhich led the Jewish State to describe as “hostile and anti-Semitic” his statements.
For its part, the Government of Israel also criticizes Gustavo Petro for not explicitly condemning the terrorist attacks perpetrated against that country in the past October 7 by the armed arm of Hamasin the midst of a scuffle that has put diplomatic relations on the verge of breaking.
In this context, Petro also announced that he will propose to the United Nations the admission of Palestine as a full member and will stop buying weapons from countries that have not supported the ceasefire proposal in Gaza in that body.
