A new wave of with drones and missiles during Saturday night affected energy facilities and railways in which caused heat and water cuts for thousands of people, the government reported.

According to the regional force in kyiv, the capital, Russia launched a total of 653 drones and 51 missiles overnight.

“The main targets of these attacks, once again, were energy facilities. Russia’s goal is to inflict suffering on millions of Ukrainians,” the president said on social networks.

A Russian drone hit and “burned the main building of the Fastiv train station,” a city located about 70 kilometers southwest of kyiv, Zelensky said.

“There were no casualties, but suburban train traffic has been disrupted,” state railway operator Ukrzaliznytsya said.

The drones and missiles also hit energy facilities in the Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv and Dnipro regions, kyiv authorities reported.

“In the Odessa region, 9,500 customers remain without heat supply and 34,000 without water supply due to damage,” said Restoration Minister Oleksiy Kuleba.
