After 14 long years, Wildmanhave returned to the drum & bass arena.

Back in October, the legendary electronic music group formally kicked off their next album cycle with “truth,” the first single off of their upcoming third album, Into The Unknown. Just days into 2024, they returned with news of their first drum & bass single in 14 years“Blame You,” which officially released today.

Matching the epic scale of its cinematically anthemic predecessors, “Blame You” opens with the spotlight on Alana Watson’s ageless vocals as Nero’s production builds up a static charge. After properly setting the scene and taking us to the year 2808, they unleash a darkened electrical pulse in the form of a tightly-woven drum & bass breakdown reminiscent of some of the early tracks that helped catapult the group to global renown.

At the time of writing, the band has not yet announced the release date of Into The Unknownthe final album in a trilogy that began with 2011’s influential Welcome Reality. In the meantime, you can listen to “Blame You” below and find the new single on streaming platforms here.
