Back in 2001, Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely introduced the character Negasonic Teenage Warhead named after the eponymous song by Monster Magnet. Despite being killed off in her first appearance of ella, the character made an impression in large part to her distinct nom de guerre de ella. Years later, a character bearing the name ella but with little resemblance to her comics counterpart de ella appeared in the 2016 Deadpool film portrayed Brianna Hildebrand. Not too long after the film, Negasonic Teenage Warhead was brought back to more closely match her cinematic appearance and powers which included superhuman strength, speed, durability and reflexes.

Given the success of the Deadpool and Wolverine film it won’t come as a surprise that Marvel has announced a Negasonic Teenage Warhead one-shot this November which will collect the character’s entire Marvel’s Voices Infinity Comic arc in print along with an all-new story by the returning creative team of writer Andrew Wheeler and artist Carola Borelli. The one-shot will feature a main cover by Paco Medina and a variant by Audrey Mock.
