With their 10th studio album, «In The Twilight Gray«, whose launch is scheduled for March 15 through Century Media Recordsthe Swedish masters of blackened death metal, NECROPHOBICthey dive even deeper into the blackest shadows.

«’stormcrow‘ was one of the first songs written for the new album. The idea was to take the classic elements of NECROPHOBIC and mix them with a slow-paced bridge with a strong touch of heavy metal. The lyrics speak of a wounded beast that rises from the depths and trusts in a winged one who tells the truth. Maybe we should be careful about letting the storm ravens carry our words to the world…
With more than thirty years of activity, disastrous service under its spikes and bullet belts, NECROPHOBIC They are undisputed legends of the death and black metal scene. Formed in 1989 by drummer Joakim Sterner, Stockholm’s blackhearts propagated a singular and fearless vision from the beginning. Eschewing the self-conscious amateurism and primitive sounds that many of their peers prized, Necrophobic established a bold and vivid identity of their own, conjuring a densely melodic yet endlessly perverse vision of macabre extreme metal that countless lesser bands have since emulated.
One more time, “In The Twilight Gray» was produced, mixed and mastered by Fredrik Folkare (from death metal icons Unleashed) in the Chrome Studios from Stockholm and designed in close collaboration by folkare and the band itself. For the graphic design they have had Jens Rydenanother institution on the Swedish scene.
