When remembering her childhood, the artist is filled with nostalgia. “My greatest memory when I was a child is that we worked in my father’s store and we always received midnight there. It was open until midnight because Peruvians always buy at the last minute,” she remembers with a laugh. That store, the first bazaar in Chosica, closed after one in the morning. Added to that memory is another very special one: the birth of his son Kenyi on December 23. “He was going to be born on the 24th or 25th, but he came early… I always remember this date,” she confesses, uniting motherhood, work and artistic vocation in the same life story.
This Christmas, Mimy Succar raises a sincere and powerful wish: “I wish good health for everyone, especially for my father who is one hundred years old and my mother who is ninety.” Convinced that health is the basis of everything, she sends a message of hope to Peruvians: “Let them have faith, that our country will move forward, with tranquility and a lot of work.” In addition, he anticipates that 2026 is full of good news: “Many beautiful things are coming for 2026, many surprises.” A Christmas lived with faith, love and hope, in the style of Mimy Succar.
