Martin garrix is officially on a rampage after releasing “Biochemical,” his third single in as many weeks.

Joining forces with Dutch compatriot Seth Hills, he’s dropped yet another arrow into a seemingly bottomless arsenal of mainstage anthems. The track’s release comes in tandem with the announcement of a new EP, IDEMwhich Garrix is dropping on March 8th under his own STMPD RCRDS banner.

“IDEM” translates to “the same” in Latin and the concept is said to represent the “culmination of a decade-long journey” for Garrix, whose music recently surpassed a staggering 11 billion streams on Spotify. The EP shares a name with last year’s larger-than-life shows at RAI during the Amsterdam Dance Event.

“Biochemical” arrives hotly anticipated after Garrix opted to open his Ultra 2023 set with the electrifying track, which set the tone for the show-stealing performance that followed. Functioning as his live intro ever since, it’s proven a bona fide DJ weapon on the world’s biggest festival stages, an experience Hills called “surreal.”

“Martin and I have been friends for years, and we have always been down to work on a track together,” Hills said in a press release. “We always bounced ideas around looking for the perfect fit. When we made ‘Biochemical’ we immediately knew this was the one. Seeing it played out on the mainstages opening Martin’s insane set, and the endless responses we got to it has been a surreal experience.”

“Biochemical” follows the releases of “Carry You” (with Third Party, Oaks and Declan J Donovan) and “Breakaway” (with Mesto and WILHELM). Check out the new single below and find it on streaming platforms here.
