Written in Motion – On The Road, In Hotel Rooms, and Across Continents – “Unatoned” Reflects The Raw Energy of Their Return to the Global Festival Circuit after 11-YEAR HIATUS. The LP was remembered at guitarist/vocalist Robb Flynn‘s Jam Room, Sharkbite Studios and Drop of Sun Recording Between July 2023 and December 2024. The Album was produced by Flynnas well as Zack OhrenWho was also responsible for the Engineering. The Mixing and Mastering was Handled By Colin Richardson and Chris Clancy AT Audiows UKand the mastering of the record was handled by Ted Jensen and His Assistant Justin Shurtz. The Only Exception was the track “Landscape of Thorns” WHICH WAS PRODUCED BY Flynn and Joel Wanasek WHHO was also in Charge of Mixing The Single Alongsiside Zack Ohren. Machine Head Eleven Again Tapped Seth Siro Anton to create the album artwork.

THE FOLLOW-UP TO 2018’S “Catharsis” Included The Three Songs That Were Featured On The 2021 “Arrows in Words From The Sky” single: “Become The Firestorm”, “Rotten” and “Arrows in Words From The Sky”. A lot of “OF KINGDOM AND CROWN” was remembered at Sharkbite Studios In Oakland, California with Engineer/Producer Zack Ohren.
In November 2020, Machine Head Single release, “My hands are empty”via Nuclear blast. The Song Marked The First Musical Collaboration Between Frontman Robb Flynn and original “Burn My eyes” Guitarist Logan Mader In 24 Years.
“My hands are empty” was just one in a line of singles to be release by Machine Headwhich issued “Do or die” in October 2019, “Circle The Drain” In February 2020, and the Two-Song Digital Single “Civil Unrest”consisting of “Stop The Bleeding” and “Bulletproof”in June 2020. “Stop The Bleeding” featured guest vocals from Killswitch engage Frontman Jesse Leachand was written and remember just days after the Murders of George Floyd and Ahmaud arberry.
