“A lot of strength for them. (I hope) they come out of all this, which is not going to be easy at all,” said the Bayern Munich attacker in the mixed zone after the draw with Portugal in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
His teammate and midfielder in the national team Richard Ríos also expressed his condolences and called to join “because what is happening is not easy; it is something that is out of our hands.”

“We are with them, that they do not feel alone, on behalf of the team,” Ríos added.
At least 1,430 people have died from the double earthquake of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 registered last Wednesday in the coastal area of the South American country.
The most recent report of victims was reported by the president of the Venezuelan Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, who also reported that there are 3,238 injured and 3,142 families affected, the majority in the state of La Guaira, the most affected by the earthquakes, which is why it was declared a disaster zone and militarized by the Government.
