Keinemusik‘s “Kloud” will soon descend on the Great Pyramids of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Thanks to their hypnotic marathon DJ sets, the techno and house music collective, who were recently named in EDM.com‘s list of the best performances of 2023, is one of today’s most coveted live electronic acts. The trio of Rampa, &ME and Adam Port has now been confirmed to headline a rare concert at the Pyramids, which is scheduled for April 19th.
The show is being produced by a nascent events brand, other.experience, who described it as “a deep emotional exploration.” The event also marks the Egyptian debut of Keinemusik, who will soon embark on an expansive international tour.
When their sultry beats and melodies echo across the colossal Pyramids, it will be a musical pairing for the ages—the cutting-edge sounds of today mingling with enduring monuments from antiquity. The legendary tombs were erected some 4,500 years ago with an estimated 2.3 million stone blocks, each of which weighed up to 15 tons, according to National Geographic.
