Colombian star Karol G is ready to make history in the world of video games by starring in an unprecedented event in Fortnite.

Epic Games’ acclaimed video game confirmed that the Tusa singer will be the first Latin artist to offer a virtual concert within the platform, joining the ranks of other music greats such as Ariana Grande, Travis Scott and Lady Gaga.

The collaboration is part of the game’s Season 5, which will begin on August 16 with the v.31.00 update and will conclude on November 1. During this time, players will be able to enjoy a series of exclusive rewards and unique experiences, all of them centered around the figure of Karol G.

The concert, scheduled for Friday, August 23 at 2:00 PM (Ecuador time), will be the main event of the “Fortnite Festival” and will be available to all players throughout the weekend, concluding on Monday, August 26 at 11:00 AM. The experience promises to be completely immersive, with five different parts that will be set to the singer’s most iconic songs.

Players who participate in the event will be able to do so in groups of up to three friends and will receive the exclusive “Bajo Bichota” as a reward. In addition, the concert will include two interactive stages: the Main Stage and the Battle Stage, where attendees will be able to play Karol G’s songs while facing unique challenges.

In addition to the concert, the Karol G-dedicated Season Pass will include a series of themed rewards, such as the “Love, Karol G” loading screen and a banner icon based on the singer.

The official Fortnite account has already revealed the first images of Karol G’s skin, which sports a pink outfit similar to the one the artist wore during her “Mañana Será Bonito World Tour.”
