J Balvin is back with more gas. The creator of indelible hits like Mi Gente, Safari, QUÉ PRETENDES or LA CANCION, has just launched Triple S with the duo Jowel y Randy and De La Ghetto. This release comes two months before the artist arrives in Spain to present his new tour, ‘It’s Good to See You Again’, which passes through Barcelona on May 28 and Madrid on the 31st.
For this song, Jose has teamed up with two references of the urban genre: Jowel and Randy, pioneers of traditional reggaeton, and De La Guetto, of the most contemporary sounds. The idea was to create a song that had its roots in traditional reggaeton, but that sounded very current. Furthermore, the lyrics are very much in that vein, since the Triple S alludes to “Suelta, Soltera y Sin Nadie que la joda.” It is a lyric in which Balvin addresses self-confidence for women and transmits a message of strength and resilience.
Triple S is not a love story, it is the story of that type of woman that we have all pursued at some point,” the artist details in a press release.
For the production of Triple S, Balvin has had a regular collaborator such as Tainy and also with Subelo Neo, who starting from the most classic reggaeton have created a renewed sound with Balvin essence.
