“Every day and also during the war, Hamas used this opportunity offered by the UNRWA to attack our already Israeli civilian forces from here,” said the commander of the 401st Brigade Combat Team of the Israeli Army, Colonel Benny Aharon< /b>, in a video that accompanies a military statement.

Israel has already accused several members of UNRWA of participating in the Hamas attacks of October 7, which led to the UN to order an investigation and prompted 18 countries – including the US, Japan, Germany and France – to announce the suspension of their contributions to the agency, which has assured that it will remain out of funds before the end of the month.
