A bold tropical reinterpretation of its original theme, “Apocalypse” fuses salsa and modern pop in a powerful collaboration between two Peruvian artists.
After a stellar year with prominent roles in The Last of Us and the number one success at the Superman box office, Isabela Merced returns with ‘Apocalypse’, a hot reimvention in a sauce code of its original theme, produced by Tony Succar, winner of 2 Grammy® and 2 Latin Grammy® Awards.
Originally written and produced by Merced with his brother Gyovanni Monter in 2020, “Apocalypse” is now transformed into an explosive Latin anthem that joins the strength of the sauce with pop, paying tribute to the Peruvian inheritance that they both share. Succar, recognized for its innovative approach in Latin music, brings its unmistakable stamp of energy and precision, combining the traditional instrumentation of salsa with contemporary arrangements.
Recorded between Miami and Los Angeles, ‘Revelation’ is a celebration of culture, rhythm and identity. It joins two coasts and two generations of Peruvian talent. Succar production elevates the theme to an electrifying sample of Latin art.
“Apocalypse has always been one of my most passionate songs, and listening to her in salsa life is like seeing her rebirth,” said Merced. “Tony contributed an explosive energy and authenticity that made me fall in love with the song once again. It is our love letter to Peru, to the sauce and the joy of making music that moves the soul and the body,” he added.

“Apocalypse is pure fire: such an intense connection that it seems that the world could end. We wanted to capture that feeling in a rhythm that makes you move, but also feel deeply. Collaborating with Isabela has been an incredible experience; it is an artist who understands the fusion and respects our roots,” said Succar.
Tony Succar will celebrate his 15 years of artistic life on December 13 at the National Stadium with great guest artists. Tickets for sale: Teleticket.
‘Apocalypse’ is now available on all digital platforms.
