The Iranian Armed Forces claimed this Sunday to have shot down a combat drone of the “American Zionist enemy” over the skies of Tehran, hours after Israel announced a new wave of attacks in the capital of the Persian country.
“Since the beginning of the imposed war until now, 127 advanced enemy drones of different types have been detected and destroyed by the country’s air defense,” said the Tasnim agency, linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported this Sunday at 02:43 local time in Tel Aviv (00:43 GMT) that they had begun attacking targets of the Iranian regime “in the heart of Tehran”, without further details about the operations being known for the moment.
This wave of attacks was carried out hours after two Iranian missiles hit the towns of Bersheeba and Dimona, in southern Israel, leaving around 120 people injured to varying degrees.
The Iranian attack on Saturday was carried out in retaliation for the attacks on the Natanz uranium enrichment facility, according to local media.
After evaluating the situation, the Israeli Army command updated the defense guidelines until next Tuesday, canceling educational activities, limiting meetings to a maximum of 50 people and working only in places where a protected space can be accessed in time.
For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered his support to emergency forces and urged citizens to follow the instructions of the armed forces.
“We are determined to continue attacking our enemies on all fronts,” Netanyahu warned about the war that began on February 28, together with the United States, against Iran and to which Hezbollah joined days later in Lebanon.
