The hardstyle legend Headhunterz has published a video on his social networks explaining the reasons that motivate him to make this decision. This break will make him focus fully on his new music: he will release an EP in the coming months
The Dutch Willem Rebergen, better known as Headhunterz, has announced today that he will leave aside the touring and will be temporarily removed from the stage starting in 2024 to focus on his role as a producer. This news came to us by surprise in the form of a video on Instagram.
“Luckily I have something that makes me smile every day, which is making music. However, lately I have been asking myself a question. Why am I still traveling, which is something that has been making me suffer for years?“, says Headhunterz. The reality is that this is not something new when it comes to the Dutchman who, unfortunately, has already needed to stop for a while on several occasions during his career.
Headhunterz, the total artist: the perfect symbiosis between euphoric hardstyle and raw
In this same video he has also stated that “this is not a withdrawalNothing like that”, but he cannot promise that he will play again in a certain time. He has also announced that hardstyle is still what she loves and what he will continue to produce and that Their performances scheduled for 2023 will continuethus beginning its rest from 2024. In addition, one of the novelties that it has not yet given much information about is that will host its own event, “not very big, but it will serve to celebrate your entire journey”. We will know all the details about it very soon.
Headhunterz will focus on its future releases
Finally, as we mentioned, Headhunterz does not close the door at all to continue launching its productions. In recent years Willem has dropped a large multitude of ID’s at his shows (which we love) and in this same statement he has announced that “It’s no secret that I have a lot of new music coming out. An EP will be released in the coming monthswith releases that will be released progressively with the first of them being published on September 15“. We don’t know how many songs the album will have, but we hope that it will include tracks like ‘The Flame Inside’, ‘How Far You Can Go’along with Final Day, or the highly anticipated ‘Battlecry’among other.
