Walter Lozada’s cumbia group Armonía 10 suffered an attack in the city of Trujillo and caused alarm among its fans.

Through their social networks, Harmony 10 by Walter Lozada published a statement in which he forcefully rejected the attack he suffered during the early hours of Monday, January 19, outside the ‘Monasterio’ nightclub, located in the Los Jardines del Golf urbanization, in the city of Trujillo.

In the message, the renowned cumbia group expressed its concern about the acts of violence and denounced the high level of insecurity experienced in the country. Likewise, he asked the Peruvian Government take urgent measures to protect citizens and national artists.

According to witnesses, the attack with explosives occurred around 2:00 in the morning. In addition, according to Panamericana Televisión, the nightclub had a sticker of the criminal group ‘The Octopuses‘, so a possible connection with this organization is not ruled out.
