He Team 5 is one of the most popular cumbia orchestras in Peru thanks to great hits like ‘Engine and motive’ and ‘The Telephone’ that are widely listened to to this day. However, the Monsefú group has also managed to position itself on streaming music platforms where it is one of the most sought-after artists.
According to YouTube Music itself, the Team 5 has frequently been number 1 on said music platform, surpassing international artists such as Bad Bunny, Karol G and Feid.

“We are part of the Top 3 on YouTube. Thank you dear public for keeping us in the No. 1 position for 6 weeks. Let’s continue playing our Peruvian cumbia,” is the message shared by the Team 5 through their social networks.

Group 5 is the best cumbia group
Grupo 5 was recognized by the Peruvian Chamber of Music as the ‘Best cumbia artist 2023’. Likewise, Elmer Yaipén received the ‘Cumbia Producer 2023’ award. The popular Monsefú orchestra thanked him for the recognition of his musical work.
