The Army of Israel exhumed about 1,100 graves in a cemetery in Loop and stole 150 bodies that had been recently buried, the Government of the Palestinian Strip denounced this Saturday.
The Gazan authorities, controlled by the Islamist group HamasThey stated in a statement that the exhumation took place in the neighborhood Tuffah from the city of Loopwhere Israeli machinery “razed” the cemetery “insulting” the dignity of the deceased.
The bodies were taken to aunknown destination, which again raises suspicions” about organ theft, the statement warned.
“We condemn in the strongest terms this heinous crime that demonstrates the brutality of the immoral occupation”Israeli in Gaza, stressed the Government of the coastal enclave.
While he regretted “the silent positions of international organizations that work in the Strip in the face of such terrible crimes committed by the Army” of Israel.
For his part, the director of the human rights defense organization Euro-Med Monitor, Rami Abdupublished on the social network X that Israeli bulldozers destroyed “mercilessly” the cemetery, where many bodies, including that of a cousin, were scattered outside the graves, in a “lack of respect towards the deceased”.

The Gaza government and Hamas have previously alleged that bodies returned by Israel to Gaza had organs “stolen“, in what they consider a war crime, while the Israeli Government has responded that it respects the integrity of corpses that are taken to determine if they correspond to hostages murdered by the Islamist group.
Israel declared war on Hamas last October 7after a massive attack by the Islamist group that included the launching of rockets and the simultaneous infiltration of thousands of militiamen who massacred some 1,200 people and kidnapped another 250 in towns near Gaza.
Since then, the Israeli Army has launched a strong offensive by air, land and sea in the Palestinian enclave, where there are already more than 22,600 dead and almost 58,000 injured, according to Gazan authorities.
