Franco El Gorila Resurges with “Under”: The Explosive Return to the Original Sound of Reggaetón
Franco El Gorila returns with a bang in his latest single “Under”, collaborating with renowned producer Jumbo “El que Produce Solo” and Dynell. This song, a true tribute to classic reggaeton and authentic underground perreo, offers a fresh fusion with modern sounds.
The artist, currently immersed in the final adjustments of his next album “Back to the Jungle”, produced by Arcángel, has released “Under” on all digital platforms. The video clip, available on his YouTube channel, was filmed in Chile, featuring a range of dancers, actors and fire jugglers, under the direction of Neva Films. The video not only complements the song, but also explores the underground essence of reggaetón, illustrating its roots in clandestinity and partying.
The meeting between Franco El Gorila, Jumbo and Dynell arose from an innate musical connection. Franco commented on the process: “Jumbo presented the project to me with an idea that Dynell had developed, and I adapted my style to perreo, which is part of my essence. “This is how this tremendous topic was born.”
Keeping busy, Franco “El Gorila” has been a prominent participant in the music scene. In 2022, he was part of “La Última Misión”, a series of fourteen concerts by Wisin y Yandel at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico. Additionally, he joined Arcángel’s shows in San Juan, along with guests like Bad Bunny and Myke Towers.
Luis Francisco Cortés, real name of Franco El Gorila, promises a 2024 full of music with the imminent release of “Back to the Jungle.” As the release of his long-awaited album approaches, he vows to continue sharing music that anticipates the spirit of his upcoming output.
