Without a doubt, Flor Javier is positioning herself in her genre, being considered the greatest exponent in the Huayno con Requinto genre.
Angelica Flower Javier Roque Music singer with Requinto was born in the Province of Yungay -Ancash, his most important songs performed are; ‘Lovers’, ‘You are like the coin’, ‘Dying at your side’, ‘I am afraid’, ‘Liar’, among others.
Since she was very young she liked to sing and dance. Despite her shortcomings, Flor Javier lived a good childhood surrounded by trees, grazing her sheep, playing in the streams and at the foot of the beautiful Huascarán snow-capped mountain.
In 2013, the family suffered a tragedy, as on October 22, her older brother Oscar Javier Roque died at the age of 24. He was a well-known musician, loved by many, who formed the musical framework of renowned artists, standing out at regional and national level. With this loss, the family is left very sad and devastated, and the memory of it still saddens them.
It was there that he took his first steps in music, trying to hide his sadness and bring joy back to his family. With the help of his father, who also sang and had his own group from a very young age, he recorded his first album with a unique style, the Ancashino requinto, which contains songs in Spanish as well as in Quechua, which was very well received in Callejón de Huaylas.

At first, it was very difficult to stand out in this world of folklore, due to the economic lack of her family and having many envies and some people who closed the doors to her. Thank God, the support of her family and her public who identify with her story and that coming from a family of few resources she achieved her success, becoming a well-known artist in the artistic environment and taking her song to the entire department of Peru having a great reception, which led her to cross the borders of Europe in the year 2021.
Currently, Flor Javier, after being saved from dying because she and her musicians were attacked for not giving in to pay the fees, was affected because her vehicle was attacked with stones and after that she is already on stage touring the south, north and central areas of Peru, with the goal of reaching the public of the Peruvian jungle to interpret her songs. She has been working with the humility that characterizes her, with determination and without forgetting the beautiful land that saw her birth.
This Saturday, September 7th, he celebrates his birthday and 6th Anniversary at Complejo Santa Rosa and he’s happy because the song ‘Mentiroso’ is trending on YouTube. Doors open at 4pm and among the guest artists are Pumita cazador, Flor Pileña, Yolandita Ivon and Franco Rojas.
