Last year, Valiant Comics announced a new partnership with Alien Books that will see Alien take over publishing Valiant’s characters. Described as the “birth of a new Valiant era,” Alien Books is currently in the middle of a crossover event called Resurgence of the Valiant Universe written by Fred Van Lente who is no stranger to the publisher’s line of characters having been involved in the 2012 Valiant Comics relaunch. This event is pitting hero against hero as the villainous Dr. Silk has turned the world upside down by eliminating death and disease on Earth and resurrecting a long dead hero.
This third issue, available in comic shops next week on Nov 27th, will see Armstrong on the verge of death after an accidental attack by his brother Gilad, the Eternal Warrior. The Beat is proud to unveil an exclusive preview of Resurgence of the Valiant Universe #3.
The pentultimate issue arrives in December and the finale in January. After that, Alien Books has been teasing something new and exciting for Valiant fans in the new year. Keep your eyes peeled and check out the preview below:
