The former president of Bolivia Evo Morales (2006-2019) said this Sunday that “It’s very serious” the situation in Argentina and questioned that the ruler of that country, Javier Mileiends his mandate in the face of social discontent due to the measures ordered by his Government.
In a program on the coca radio station Kawsachun Coca, Morales stated that “What is happening in Argentina is very serious” and that union leaders from that country and Bolivians who live there told him about the rising prices of products and services.

“On the 1st and 2nd (December) we were in Argentina. I said (that) I was saying goodbye for four years. Maybe it won’t be four years now, that’s what it feels like, what will happen because there is a total reaction“said the leader of the ruling party. Movement to Socialism (FURTHER).
The former ruler questioned that Argentina is governed by “decree” and considered that this way of administering the State is “the right”.
“I hope that doesn’t happen in Bolivia“, said the politician, who also regretted the dismissals of “thousands of workers” that entered the Argentine State during the administration of Alberto Fernandez (2019-2023).
In his opinion, the Government of the Bolivian president, Luis Arcefrom whom he is distanced despite both belonging to the FURTHERhas also dismissed officials considered “evistas”, or that they are loyal to him.

Morales was an ally of the deceased Nestor Kirchner and of Cristina Kirchnerwhile Arce reissued that alliance with Fernández since he became President of Bolivia at the end of 2020.

The Arce Government has stated that it hopes to maintain “the same level of fruitful cooperation” that he has had so far with Argentina, although the Bolivian president did not attend Milei’s investiture.
