Download Festival return for the 2024 edition. The first list of bands playing at Download Festival 2024 has been revealed. With this announcement, all three of the festival’s music bands have over 80 more.

Download Festival Revealed Full Lineup for 2024 Edition

Friday’s festivities will be kicked off by opening night headliners Queens of the Stone Age. In difference, Saturday’s festivities will be capped off by Fall out Boywho has recently completed a major tour of the United Kingdom. avenged sevenfold will be making their third headline performance of this year at Download, and they will be closing the party with their song “A Little Piece of Heaven.” We can surely think of worse ways to wrap off the festivities at Donington Park than with this song.

Both Royal Blood and the recently reunited and resurrected Panther will be performing at this year’s Download Festival. Machine Head will play Donington for the first time since 2012 when they make their return. In the form of The Offspring, Billy Talentand our good friends Bowling For Soup, there is plenty of punk rock and pop punk to be found here!

Their contemporaries, Sum 41will be making their final UK festival performance before calling it quits, and the 2024 Download Festival will have the only right to see them perform.

Ace While She Sleeps moves up the bill for what will be the largest Download Festival slot of their career to this point, it is hoped that they will bring the arena-level production that they have been using on their most recent tour to Donington. Babymetal is returning to the Download Festivaland with them comes the return of the Fox God.

The Used, Biohazard, Thy Art Is Murderand The Black Dahlia Murder are among the bands performing at Donington with Slipknot and Stone Sour‘s frontman Corey Taylorwho will be performing at the scene alone. Heilung will be making their debut at Download with their brand of dark folk music, while Bad Omens will also be making their debut at Donington Park.

Download Festival’s organizer Andy Copping shares a press statement:

“After our unbelievable 20th anniversary celebrations last year, we couldn’t be more excited about what DLXXI has in store. This year we have two brand new headliners in the form of Queens Of The Stone Age and Fall Out Boy, as well as the mighty Avenged Sevenfold and a whole host of huge names that make every second of Download Festival memorable. I can’t wait to join the fans there – it is our home.

With first time headliners and our first headline partner with Liquid Death, we are embracing the evolution of Download Festival. “We have the best and friendliest community together and we can’t wait to celebrate the next 20 years of Download with you all.”

Where does the Download Festival take place?

Download Festival 2024 will take place at Donington Park, known as the “spiritual home of rock and metal” in the United Kingdom, from the 14th to the 16th of June 2024 (the campground will be open from the 12th to the 17th of June) .

How to Buy Tickets for Download Festival 2024?

Tickets for the Download Festival 2024 will be made available for pre-sale through Barclaycard beginning at 9 pm on Tuesday, November 7th. The official ticket pre-sale for the festival will begin on Wednesday, November 8th, while the general public can purchase tickets starting Thursday, November 9th.

Avenged Sevenfold’s Synyster Gates talks about the Download 2024:
