The cumbiambero Dilbert Aguilar has overcome the most critical moments of his health after being admitted at the end of August to the Unit of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital.

Now, the leader of the La Tribu orchestra is at home, following strict treatment for his recovery. His wife, Jazmín Gutarra, confirmed the good news, thanking his fans for their support and concern.

The renowned 50-year-old artist was hospitalized due to serious health complications, which required his admission to the ICU. After several days of uncertainty, doctors managed to stabilize him, and he was finally discharged to continue his recovery at home.

What did Dilbert Aguilar’s wife say about the singer’s health?

“My husband is already home. He is under care, with the therapies and treatments that he needs to follow,” said Gutarra, who has remained by her side throughout the entire process.

Last Saturday, the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital issued a statement announcing that Dilbert Aguilar had made satisfactory progress and no longer required mechanical ventilation, which was a great relief for his family and followers.

The document also stated that after a rapid improvement, the singer was transferred from the ICU to a hospital bed to complete his treatment before being discharged.

Dr. Manuel Díaz De Los Santos, senior advisor to the hospital’s General Management, highlighted the progress made in the interpreter’s health: “He has currently been extubated and we hope that he continues on the path of recovery, which has surprisingly been quick.”

Finally, Jazmin Gutarra expressed her gratitude to the medical staff and her husband’s supporters. “We were able to find an ICU bed in the hospital, thank God. Now he is content, happy and eager to go home and see his family. Let’s continue to pray for his continued recovery,” she said in a recent interview.
