The situation in Venezuela is becoming increasingly tense. Several personalities around the world have spoken out about the controversy that erupted following the results of last Sunday’s presidential elections. The elections, denounced as fraudulent, allowed Nicolás Maduro to assume a third term, according to the National Electoral Council (CNE).
The daughter of the famous urban music artist Daddy Yankee, Jesaaelys Ayala, was one of those who decided to give her opinion on the matter through her TitTok account.
In her post, Jesaaelys began by apologizing for not being an expert on the subject, but she did not hide her frustration. She had hoped to see a change in Venezuela, a hope that vanished. The young woman spoke about the accusations of fraud and the protests that have arisen in rejection of the results.
“Forgive me because I am not the person who knows the most about this subject, I am the person who perhaps knows the least about this, but I want to express my frustration because, truly, I went to bed thinking that Venezuela was going to have a change and I woke up only to see that this guy (Maduro) had proclaimed himself president.”

Visibly affected, Jesaaelys compared the lives of many Venezuelans to that of prisoners, saying that they are living in a situation that they did not choose and do not want. “They are trapped, they are puppets of a stupid, useless, good-for-nothing person.”
She also said this: “If you are not letting people vote, you are self-proclaiming. If you have people threatened with guns, who cannot vote because their lives will be at risk… What are we doing? What inhuman treatment for the people of Venezuela!” exclaimed the woman, visibly outraged by what had happened.
Worried about the matter, she constantly asked what will happen now because “clearly the votes were illegal, it is a theft, what is being done, who is intervening because they need it now, today.”
That is why, with her voice breaking, she insisted that she felt frustrated, arguing that “I cannot believe that Venezuelans who are outside their country cannot go visit their relatives, cannot move because they want to live in their country, but they cannot.”
Finally, he made an urgent call to intervene in the current situation in Venezuela, highlighting his intolerance of injustice. “It is incredible to see how they counted the votes and Maduro’s were thousands behind,” he said, referring to the race with Edmundo González.
