Monsters plague the Sooner State. The National Monster Service fights back with giant mechs.
Our second issue featured one of our most popular comics: Oklahoma Kaiju, the story of a giant opossum ramping through Oklahoma City in 1967. Just reading that premise caught my attention, but it was seeing the Golden Driller of Tulsa used as a mech to fight kaiju critters that made me an instant supporter. The concept of Oklahoma Kaiju is both amusing and intriguing, and given the amount of effort put into this project, I’m confident that if it were released in comic book stores, regular readers would be eager to learn more—and likely want to add it to their collections.

Waryanto’s art is phenomenal—it was the first thing that caught my eye when I started going through the review pages. The style immediately stood out to me, and as I delved deeper, the influences of Dungeons & Dragons and Avatar: The Last Airbender became more apparent. The comic looks fantastic, and the story is just as compelling.
