Christian Nodal confessed that he has had several opportunities to feature with Maluma. However, he explained why collaboration has not occurred.

Christian Nodal generated great controversy on social networks when he declared that Maluma is the singer he has rejected the most times to record a song together. According to the Mexican artist, he did not want to enter the studio with the Colombian, and that he even sent him the song ‘Según qué’ first, a hit that the Paisa singer recorded with fellow Mexican Carín León.

‘According to whom’ was one of the proposals that the ‘Botellastras bottle’ interpreter received from Maluma, who ended up releasing the hit with Carín León in August 2023. This song earned the two singers several international recognitions and with which they performed at several musical awards galas at the beginning of this year. However, this issue was first in the hands of Belinda’s ex, who did not pay much attention to it.

However, the regional Mexican singer explained in the YouTube program ‘Noche de luz’ that he is looking to make an important duet with the Colombian. However, he aims for her to find a song in which both of them can get out of their comfort zone and show themselves differently.

“I have told him: ‘When I make a song with you I want it to be something deep, I don’t want something commercial, I don’t want to listen to what has already been done, I want you to listen to a different Maluma, I want to surround you with my mariachi with deep lyrics and that it is something important,’” said Christian Nodal in the television space.

Likewise, the Mexican singer confessed that he did not regret it after seeing what the song has achieved, since he never doubted it. He also stated that the same thing happened to him with salsa singer Marc Anthony.

“I feel that when you are given the opportunity with someone you admire and all that, you have a bullet there, you have to take advantage of it well and not use it just because the person is there to make the collaboration,” added Christian Nodal.
