India’s Bloodywood and Japan’s BABYMETAL are two of the hottest acts in the international metal scene, so getting both bands together on a track is a worthy treat of this holiday season. “Bekhauf,” or “Fearless” in Hindi, is a blistering track that fits right at home with either band’s catalog. Blending nu metal, power metal, and electronic elements and making it sound this cohesive is no small feat, but the result is somehow more epic than one would expect from such a collaboration.

The music video is a treat as well, as director Debjyoti Saha and Goppo Animation give the members of both bands an anime makeover, with epic battle sequences galore. It’s as if the band realized that the song would be fitting of an anime opening sequence and ran with that idea, and the resulting final product is infinitely better for it. On the Instagram post announcing the video, Bloodywood vocalist Jayant Bhadula made his case for the song being used in One Pieceeven invoking the name of series creator Eiichiro Oda himself.

“Fear is a choice, but the choice is mine” is one hell of a mantra provided by this song, but missing out on this stormer of a single would be a poor choice. Check out the music video for “Bekhauf” below:
