With their debut album, «Highly Irresponsible«, a few weeks after its launch on October 25 through SharpTone Records, BETTER LOVERS reveal a whole new dimension to their music with today’s song «At All Times«.

«When the boys sent me the instrumental of ‘At All Times‘I was really amazed,’ he shares. Greg Puciato. «I had been looking forward to the ‘writing power ballads’ stage for a long time. I knew it was coming. I had no idea what it would be with this band. As a vocalist, it’s really exciting to be with guys who can write songs like this Y’30 Under 13‘. This one is for lovers.

BETTER LOVERS have shared two additional previews of the long-awaited album: «A White Horse Covered in Blood” and “Future Myopia» and his video with frogs.

BETTER LOVERS recently announced their first North American tour in support of the 10-song release, with a five-week tour kicking off on November 3 in Asheville, North Carolina.

Among the opening acts are Full Of Hell (from November 3 to December 2), SPY, Cloakroom and Gouge Away (December 4 to 8).

Jordan Buckley:

«Writing and recording our first full-length was somewhat more surgical than the EP, but it had a similar lack of restraint. I feel more pressure giving a quote for this press release than I did all winter in the studio. Will. I woke up every day and watched the masters perfect their art. I was a student. It was a playground. It was all fun. We read each other’s minds. We even created our own language at times. I didn’t know if I was watching my best friends write music, or if I was watching how music used us to exist. The voice in my head that warned me how highly irresponsible it was to get back on this bull had disappeared. It was replaced by big ideas, inside jokes, and a rejuvenated love for helping write songs that don’t sound like anything else. Humans and animals are programmed to do wild things for what they love. Very irresponsible things. And we love what we have created. We know you do too.

Recorded this spring, «Highly Irresponsible» benefits from the dual role of Will Putneywho, in addition to being one of the band’s guitarists, also contributes his producing skills to the album.

Putney explains:

«Being a band member and producer is really an advantage for BETTER LOVERS. We are so clear about what we want to do, and our creative process is so synchronized and natural that we rarely hit a wall when working on music. My role is to capture the energy of the band as it should sound: a band that is firing on all cylinders.”
