Barclay Crenshaw is wrapping up his Open Channel era with a bang with his highly anticipated remix album, Open Channel – New Frequenciesout now.

The project features bold reinterpretations that breathe new energy into the album’s heavy-hitters. LYNY, Shanghai Doom, ASHEZ and more put their own unique spins on Crenshaw’s album, blazing new creative trails while solidifying their lasting impact on the evolving world of bass music. Each artist adds their distinctive touch, blending the magic of their originals with their own signature twists.

Some of the album’s highlights include Shanghai Doom’s remix of “Big in the Game,” which turns the track on its head with gritty, growing bass. LYNY’s “Do My Ting” remix adds a heavy dose of trap to Flowdan’s fiery vocals, producing an unconventional and otherworldly soundscape.

In other Crenshaw news, he recently announced plans to tour in 2025 as Claude VonStroke, his beloved house music project. VonStroke was then revealed to be part of this year’s Elements Music & Arts Festival lineup.
