Rauw Alejandro, the prominent Puerto Rican artist and Rosalía’s ex-partner, is in the middle of a controversy after a recent concert. At this event, he shared the stage with singer Bad Gyal, triggering an incident that has captured the attention of the media and fans.

During the show held in Puerto Rico, the ‘Fantasías’ singer insisted several times to his colleague and friend to twerk together, a situation that generated tension on stage. The Puerto Rican singer’s insistence sparked mixed reactions among attendees and followers, with some describing the incident as inappropriate.

In response to reactions from the public and the press, Rauw Alejandro issued a statement denying any form of harassment towards Bad Gyal. The artist emphasized his relationship of friendship and professionalism with her, criticizing the Spanish press and TikTok users for what he considers a misrepresentation of the facts.

“Stop making up so much shit, Alba and I are friends and coworkers. And there is a lot of respect and admiration here. We make music and what we do on stage is a show. They were two nights together on stage and many more will come,” she said.

For his part, Bad Gyal also spoke out to support his colleague and friend. “I want to clarify that I do not agree with how some media outlets are presenting what happened in the choli. Twerking with someone doesn’t seem like anything out of this world to me, but I precisely wanted to avoid getting too close to Rauw because I know what certain press and certain people are like on social networks.

Finally, he asked them to stop with the negative comments: “I know that I would surely have been related to him in a different way when we are just friends and co-workers, and I also know that unnecessary controversy would have been generated. I am aware of this and I know that, if I had fooled around with him, being a public person, a lot of false gossip would have been generated,” she closed.
