Judge Pedro Delgado of the Federal Court issued an order this Tuesday against the Puerto Rican artist Anuel AA after finding “rebellion” for a million-dollar lawsuit for breach of contract filed by the advertising agency Buena Vibra Group (BVG).
In August of last year, the company sued Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, the urban singer’s first name, and his company Real Hasta la Muerte (RHLM) after not paying for various promotional works related to the launch of the record production ‘Las Leyendas siempre Mueren’. , according to local media.
The agency claims $1,864,000, which allegedly corresponds to the expenses incurred in the different promotional campaigns.
The advertising company claims that it paid the Ultimate Fighting Championsip (UFC) company a total of $960,000 to promote the album and at the moment they have not been reimbursed to BVG.
“In addition, BVG is also owed $10,000 for certain images requested and approved by Anuel for his ex-wife, the artist known as Yailín la Más Viral. BVG is also owed an amount of no less than $200,000, as compensation for the advertising agency services it provided to the defendants,” the lawsuit states.
Likewise, the document adds that “BVG is owed in damages an amount of no less than $194,000 for the loss of profits it has suffered by not having the opportunity to invest the money owed by the defendants in other projects.”
BVG also told the court of the multiple failed attempts to personally contact Anuel AA and his company to deliver the lawsuit and the collection claim between August and September 2023.
