The singer Aleks Syntek echoed again on social networks with a strong message addressed to his followers. This time, the Mexican artist spoke out about the controversy surrounding trendy music, especially regarding its suitability for younger audiences.

Through his official platforms, he shared a fragment of a viral video that showed a child imitating the characteristic gestures of Peso Pluma, one of the prominent names in the regional Mexican genre. In his publication, the “Duele el amor” singer expressed his concern, pointing out that although each individual has the right to their musical preferences, it is the responsibility of parents to protect their children from inappropriate content.

“Mom, dad, there is music that IS NOT FOR CHILDREN,” he wrote on his social networks, urging greater awareness about the impact of the explicit lyrics that characterize some Doble P songs, which address sensitive topics such as drug trafficking, violence and sex.

Peso Pluma himself joined this reflection, recognizing that his music is not aimed at a children’s audience. This recognition came after a tragic incident where an 11-year-old boy, an admirer of the singer, took his own life after facing rejection from his father, who did not approve of his musical taste.

Is Alex Syntek a Featherweight fan?

The Mexican singer and composer Aleks Syntek has once again echoed on social networks by addressing an issue of relevance in raising children: the type of music they consume. On this occasion, Syntek spoke out after the viralization of a video where a child imitates Peso Pluma, the popular regional Mexican music singer.

This is not the singer-songwriter’s first encounter with the controversy surrounding contemporary music. In the past, he has expressed concern about the influence of genres like reggaetón and corridos on younger audiences. Although he admits the artistic authenticity of the corridos tumbados singer, he does not hesitate to reiterate his position on the need to protect children from content that is not appropriate for their age.

In a previous interview, the musician also reflected on musical diversity and the saturation of the market with a single genre, highlighting the importance of maintaining a varied offer for listeners.

However, despite his criticism, the singer also expressed his admiration for Peso Pluma as an authentic artist on the music scene.
