Why doesn’t Agua Marina no longer release covers?
The brothers Quiroga They acknowledge that at first they made covers, but then they realized that that was not the way, so they recommend Peruvian musicians make original music. “We realized that a group should have its own songs because that is the identity of a group: making new songs. We hope that the new generations have that sense of making authentic Peruvian music,” expressed José Quiroga.
