Bad Bunny has become a phenomenon, many have called him the “King of Trap”, the “King of Reggaeton” and now Forbes magazine calls him “King of Pop”.

The Puerto Rican artist stars on the cover of the famous magazine, where he talks about his empire in music and entertainment.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, the singer’s first name, has been a member of the 2019 Forbes “30 Under 30” list. The magazine publishes that he has been the most successful artist on Spotify with 35.9 billion views. His YouTube channel has attracted more than 32 billion views, more than those of Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

In the interview, the “Perro negro” singer highlights his pride in arriving where he is speaking Spanish: “Spanish is part of me, it is part of my DNA… I like, wherever I go, to take it and speak it. Not because I want to implement it, but because that is what I am.”

Although Bad Bunny earned about $88 million last year, the Puerto Rican claims that it’s not just about money.

“It’s not about the money all the time,” Bad Bunny said about how he chooses partners. “It’s about how much I like the brand and how much they are going to respect my creativity.”
