The song will reach all digital platforms along with an official video clip recorded in Cusco, fusing cumbia, huayno and contemporary urban sounds in a collaboration that unites nostalgia, identity and pop culture.
More than 20 years after the birth of the original song—considered one of the most iconic viral phenomena in Latin America and which today exceeds 20 million views—Wendy presents a sonic reinvention that redefines the song that marked her musical beginnings and that today connects with new generations around the world.
“This song was born out of the affection of the public. For years they asked me for a remix of ‘Cerveza, Cerveza’ and I felt that it was the perfect time to pay tribute to my roots and my beginnings”comments Wendy Sulca about this production that promises to break digital platforms. The artist also revealed how the collaboration with Micro TDH: “Everything happened very organically. He already knew my music since he was a child, he listened to my songs when he went to school in Mérida, Venezuela.
