After almost two decades contributing their unique sound to the reggaeton genre, production duo Lthe Hitmen present “Dispuesta”, their new single with two of the most influential voices of the movement: Jay Wheeler and Justin Quiles. The song, available since March 12 on all digital platforms, marks the beginning of a new artistic stage for the duo.
“Ready” is the first preview of the next album by Los Hitmen, a special project with which the duo celebrates almost twenty years of experience within the urban genre. The album currently in development and in alliance with MP Records, in charge of its dissemination and exploitation, will bring together collaborations with key artists of the movement, whose names will be progressively revealed as the next releases approach.
With a catalog that exceeds 2 billion global streams, Los Hitmen, made up of Lelo and Jazzy, have been responsible for some of the biggest hits in the urban genre, working with artists such as J Balvin, Wisin & Yandel, Don Omar, Myke Towers, Arcángel, Farruko, Plan B, De La Ghetto and Tego Calderón, among many others. With “Dispuesta”, the duo reunites again with two artists with whom they built an important part of their musical history, representing a creative reconnection.
Musically, “Dispuesta” is a sensual and melodic reggaeton that combines the classic DNA of Los Hitmen, forceful drums, dominant bass and a strong melodic sensibility, with an emotional narrative that explores desire, pride and tension within a relationship. The result is a song designed to connect with both urban playlists and party environments, with an immediate “hook” that promises to become one of the most memorable.
The launch comes accompanied by an official video directed by renowned director Fernando Lugo, responsible for visual pieces for artists such as Bad Bunny and J Balvin. The music video features a contemporary cinematic aesthetic that reinforces the song’s emotional intensity and elevates the project’s visual narrative.
More than a collaboration, “Dispuesta” represents the beginning of a new phase for Los Hitmen as protagonists of their own catalog, consolidating their position not only as historical producers of the genre and reaffirming the influence of a duo that for twenty years has been a fundamental part of reggaetón.
As part of the launch campaign, The Hitmen will perform a special stream on Twitch on the day of the premiere, as part of the Twitch Streaming Series: Road to the World Cup Sessions, where they will interact live with their audience playing FIFA, reacting to the official video and sharing details behind the creation of the song. The digital event seeks to connect with the fan community in a different way, reinforcing closeness with the audience and setting the tone for a new stage that combines music, digital culture and entertainment in real time.
This release paves the way for a series of collaborations that will be part of the album and will be revealed over the coming months.
