Gutter Gang, turn up! Shelby, North Carolina’s own Filth just released a cover of Limp Bizkit’s 2000 smash hit “Rollin’.” This version drops the apostrophe and doubles down on the heaviness. Operating a full octave lower than the original, this version is everything you love—or hate—about “Rollin'” and takes it to the nth degree. As covers go, this one pretty much does what it says on the tin, but that works to the song’s advantage. The small tweaks, like the indecipherable guttural growls or the Lil Jon samples are hilariously self-aware absurdity.
Special shout out to the guitars on this track. Fans of Wes Borland know his guitar work on the original “Rollin'” is processed within an inch of his life, so it makes perfect sense for guitarist David Gantt and bassist Sean Britt to find the 2026 equivalent. But even by Filth standards, they really outdid themselves here. And that’s before they get to the earth-shattering breakdown.
This track’s release coincides with the release of their new EP, Welcome to Shell Townand launch of the band’s Beasts of the East Tour. The 16-date trek will feature support from Blackwater Drowning, Autumn Lies Buried, Comawavesand Jawjacked. Starting next month, the band will kick off their Back To Tha Gutta Tour to celebrate the band’s tenth anniversary. Support on that tour will come from Two Piece, Resistor, Monochromatic Blackand Inferious. After that, the band will hit up several summer festivals including INKcarceration and Motocultor. Check out dates and the Fury Road-inspired music video for “Rollin” below.
