He Israeli army said this Friday that its air forces bombed “in the heart of Tehran” the underground military bunker of the former leader of the Iranian regime, Ali Khameneiwhich continued “to constitute an important infrastructure for the regime’s senior officials.”
“The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dismantled Ali Khamenei’s underground military bunker, located under the leadership complex of the Iranian terrorist regime,” reads a military statement.
The Israeli Army also details that around 50 air force fighter planes participated in the operation guided by “precise intelligence” with more than 100 munitions to attack Khamenei’s bunker in the Iranian capital.

“The tunnel extends for several blocks under the civilian population and contained numerous access points. The Iranian terrorist regime considered it impregnable,” the Army indicates.
According to Israel, this bunker “located under the regime’s dome complex in central Tehran” was intended to be used by Khamenei as a secure emergency command center.
Israel killed Khamenei during the bombings it launched on Iran on Saturday, February 28, together with the United States, starting a war that has spread throughout the region and is on its way to being a week old.

In its note, the Army recalls that earlier this week the Israeli air force also hit several military objectives of the regime, including the building of the Supreme National Security Council and the main military academy of the Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Despite these harsh attacks against the regime, Iran has continued throughout this Friday morning launching barrages of ballistic missiles against Israel, causing anti-aircraft alarms to sound in cities such as Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as well as explosions due to interceptions in the sky.
However, no personal injuries have been reported, only material damage, especially from the shrapnel that falls after the missiles are intercepted.
