Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, arrested this Thursday in London, was stripped of his noble titles, including that of prince, last November by his brother, King Charles III, following new revelations about his links to the case of Jeffrey Epstein.
Just a few days ago, after new revelations about the scandal were published, the king expressed his willingness to collaborate in the investigation of Andrés if the police asked him to do so.

The first revelations about the alleged abuse of minors committed by the former prince came in 2015, when the American Virginia Giuffre reported before a Florida court that she was forced to have sexual relations with him when she was a minor, within a network run by the deceased American millionaire pedophile. Jeffrey Epstein.

The scandal returned to the news in 2019 and after the tycoon’s imprisonment and his subsequent alleged suicide, Andrés announced his retirement from public life in November of that year.
But the case continued and in 2021, Giuffre filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he abused her when she was a minor.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, born in London on February 19, 1960, is the third child of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.
In 1983 he fought in the Falklands War, as a naval helicopter pilot aboard the “Invincible”, and was awarded the medal of the Order of Queen Victoria for saving the lives of several sailors.
After more than twenty years of service, in 2001 he left his military career, where he reached the rank of lieutenant commander.
In 2001, he was appointed special representative of the department of British International Trade (BTI), a government organization responsible for promoting British trade and investment abroad.

He was president of the English Football Association from 2000, until 2006, when he was replaced by his nephew Prince William.
In 1985 he met the aristocrat Sarah Ferguson and on July 23, 1986 they married in Westminster Abbey.
After his marriage he was created Duke of York and, in 1987, took up his seat as a member of the House of Lords. He was also invested as hereditary Earl of Inverness on those same dates.
On August 8, 1988, his daughter Beatriz was born, and on March 23, 1990, Princess Eugenie.
On March 19, 1992, after six years of marriage and several love scandals, the couple announced their separation and in 1996 their divorce was made official.
