A military aircraft of the USA crashed after an “accident” during training at the Mediterranean eastern, as reported by the European Command (EUCOM) of this country in a statement.

The incident, which is being investigated, “was purely training-related and there are no indications of hostile activity,” EUCOM highlighted.
The command, responsible for the military operations of USA in Europe, parts of Asia and the Middle East, it did not specify which aircraft it was or how many people were part of the crew.

“Out of respect for the affected families, we will not release any further information about the personnel involved at this time,” the statement clarified.
EUCOM has been charged with leading US military support to Ukraine in the face of the Russian invasion. In July of this year, US President Joe Biden ordered the deployment of some 3,000 reservists to reinforce the command’s work.
