On the night of Wednesday, October 8, an event that promised to be a party of music and joy ended in tragedy at the Chorrillos Military Circle, Tarapacá headquarters. The groups performed there Marine Water and Zaperoko, but during the performance of the renowned QQQumbia group a shootout broke out that spread panic among the attendees.
According to the first reports, one of the musicians, apparently the drummer, was hit by a bullet and had to be immediately taken to a nearby hospital. The situation generated confusion and fear, as the public tried to get safe from danger.
Several witnesses said that between seven and eight shots were heard, which caused people to run and fall to the ground. “People started running and throwing themselves on the ground, no one understood what was happening,” said a user on social networks, reflecting the moment of terror experienced during the concert.

According to a reliable source from our host Julio César ‘Papuchín’ from Radio Nueva Q, there are 5 members of Marine Water who were rushed to a nearby hospital. These are: Luis Quiroga, Manuel Quiroga, Willy Ruiz, César More and Lucho Miranda. In addition, it has been reported that the musicians would be out of danger.
