The last ship of the Global Sumud Fotilla bound for Gaza that was sailing in the Mediterranean -The Marinette-, was intercepted this Friday, confirmed the organization.
From Wednesday night, Israel has intercepted more than forty ships and arrested a total of 473 crew that were transferred this Friday to the Saharonim prison, in the Desert of the Neguev, southern Israel.

The Marinette -with a Polish flag -, with six crew members, had lagged behind the rest of the mission for a breakdown, so it was not intercepted between Wednesday and Thursday, in the Operation of the Israeli army against the flotillain international waters.
The images of the ship broadcast live show the approach of a military ship and the Israeli approach around 10:29 local time (7:29 GMT) to about 42.5 nautical miles from the coast of Gaza.
The flotilla committee denounced the illegal interception of 42 ships In total of the mission that transported humanitarian aid and volunteers to “break Israel’s illegal siege to Gaza.”

“Our determination to face the Atrocities of Israel and support the Palestinian people remains unwavering, ”said the maritime expedition after the operation.
The Global Sumud Flotillacomposed of dozens of ships that came out of Spain, Tunisia, Italy and Greece, consisted of the broader humanitarian mission organized so far with hundreds of volunteers of more than forty nationalities.
Another mission, called Freedom-Thousand Madleens flotilla, continues its journey to Gaza and sailed with nine ships this Friday at the height of the island of Crete, according to its tracking page.
